The entangling relationship between Yung and Chit (Kenix Kwok) is further complicated by the emergence of Tung (Monica Chan). On the other hand, Yi is torn between Mei (Karen Tong), SaSa (Yeung Yuen Yee) and Lung (Chung Lai Kai)... |
This is
the third part of the Detective Investigation Files Trilogy. The story
is still pretty much the same, although the ranks of the main characters
Dai Yung (Dao Tai Yu) and Yi Chi (Leung Wing Chung) are higher and they
were separated in two different police stations. But they get to work with
eachother soon and together they solve many cases. But the most appealing
about this serie is of course the romantic relationships of the characters/
Dai Yung and Jesse (Kenix Kwok) are finally back together after a dangerous
adventure in China. But there relationships is soon showing some black
stains due to Jesse's amnesia. Yi Chi (Leung Wing Chung) is finally getting
over his lost wife and found a new girlfriend, but there's another girl
in his life...
Humor, suspense, action, mystery, and romance it got them all, but the
most appealing of this serie is the relationship between the main characters
Cheung Tai Yung (Dao Tai Yu) and his girlfriend Jesse (Kenix Kwok). From
the Detective Investigation Files Trilogy, this one is my favorite. The
story is much more well-thought in this part. As you may expect from a
detective serie, police cases are taking a important place in it. One case
is about two or three episodes long. In the previous parts the killer/victim
will show up on their "own" story so you can know who's the killer right
away. The "criminals" in this part on the other hand will show up
a few episodes/ stories earlier in the serie so you won't know who'll be
the killer/victim.
Another
great thing is that there are "guests" in thist part. Like the former partners
of Tai Yung & Yin Tsai (introduced in the previous parts) would show
up now and then to help them solve a case.
